Here Come New Ideas For Halloween: LED Strip Lights and More!

Halloween is almost here. I’m beginning to think that it’s time to shop for some LED strip lights and create a spooky scene in and around the house. As a child, I was (and still am) mesmerized by the eeriness of Halloween. Therefore, I will be trying to mix and match various interests and see where it gets me. If you want some ideas for Halloween decoration, please read how to use multiple LED lights and nail the Halloween decorations!

Here Come New Ideas For Halloween: LED Strip Lights and More!

Traditional with a Twist!

Aah! Whether you take October for the month of Halloween or for ‘awareness against domestic violence,’ using the good ol’ purple lights makes complete sense. If you like the rich, mysteries ambiance of purple hues, consider investing in some LED strip lights with remote control. Having remote control over the strip lights comes in handy, especially if you choose RGB LED strip lights, as you can adjust the brightness and illumination patterns of the strip(s).

For The Love Of Pumpkins!

Jack-o’-lanterns are my all-time favorite. Over the years, I have tried to make serious efforts to crave the best-in-town lanterns out of the pumpkins. Now that I’ve grown up and practiced the art over two dozen times, it’s safe to say that average at making pumpkin lanterns. However, if you are a beginner, go for simpler designs like the one shown in the figure that follows:

Once you finish carving out the squishy insides of the pumpkin, a hollow ball will be yours to recreate. Use a stainless-steel cookie cutter to cut out holes in the pumpkin and try making clean cuts! After finishing, place a battery-operated, IP65 rated LED bulb(s) inside your freshly-made lantern!

Freak them out with Neon Halloween Signs!

Even in total sobriety, my adult brain cannot help but think, “Dear Neon Rope lights, why didn’t anyone invent you any sooner?” Why would a grown-up man think like that? Well, they allow creating spine-chilling and ghostly Halloween decorations, like the ones shown in the image that follows:

If the idea of making rope light ghouls and ‘enter at your own risk’ signs do not excite your imagination, try leveling up with the next concept.

Lit-ghosts in the Town!

Take an RGB LED light strip and stick it on a well-fitted jumpsuit. Stick the LED strips on the middle-front sides of the legs of the jumpsuit. Repeat on the hands and torso area of the clothing. Take a balaclava and stick the LED strip on the periphery. You’ll have to use battery-powered LED strips for this project, and if everything goes well, you and your friends can wander around looking like the folks shown in the picture that follows:

Magic is really very simple, all you’ve got to do is want something and then let yourself have it.”
